Recycle & Help the Richmond Food Bank

Nov 1, 2011 by

Fall cleaning?

The Richmond Food Bank needs your surplus plastic grocery bags – the type with handles that you get at the check-out stand.

Our Tuesday volunteer crew uses more than 500 every week to pack fruits and vegetables for distribution.

Every bag recycled in this way saves the RFB close to $1,000 a year – and reduces the number of bags going into the landfill.

Please tell your family, friends, and neighbours.

Thank you for your help.
