By donating you can help us inspire a robust Richmond food system through education, advocacy, and community building initiatives.
Last year, donations helped us to:
- recover 5,114 lbs of fresh produce for the Richmond Food Bank that would have otherwise gone to waste,
- provide community gardens for low-income individuals and families,
- teach low-asset youth from around Richmond valuable food skills, and
- develop the Richmond Food Charter that was unanimously endorsed by Richmond City Council.
With your help, in 2017 we hope to recover even more fruit, reach more youth, seek endorsements for the Richmond Food Charter throughout the community, and continue to work towards a food secure Richmond.
We have a history of leveraging every dollar donated to have the greatest possible impact towards our goals of healthy, sustainable, and local food for all.
We accept donations via paypal below, or via cheque mailed to our office. We are a registered society, but not a registered charity. As such we are not able to provide tax receipts.
Thank you for your support.
