Cool Weather Crops: Launching the Growing Season

Learn about starting a veggie garden in spring. Discover which cool weather seeds to plant to launch the gardening year, and how to start seeds indoors that can be transplanted into your garden plot. Includes seeds, pots and soil.

Unless otherwise indicated, all workshops will be led by Susan Lee Hem, who will share the knowledge gained through her work as The Sharing Farm Society’s greenhouse manager, as a founding member of Richmond Urban Farmers, as the owner of Small Space Gardening and Design, as well as from her experience of growing food on her own townhouse balcony.
