Garden Planning for Small Spaces

Learn how to maximize the space to get the most out of your garden. Planning will include square foot garden techniques, companion planting, trellising/growing vertically, and crop rotation. Bring a pencil and your garden ideas!

Unless otherwise indicated, all workshops will be led by Susan Lee Hem, who will share the knowledge gained through her work as The Sharing Farm Society’s greenhouse manager, as a founding member of Richmond Urban Farmers, as the owner of Small Space Gardening and Design, as well as from her experience of growing food on her own townhouse balcony.
