This workshop is part of the $10 Gardening Workshop series.

Harvesting and Cooking

Perhaps the most satisfying part of having a garden is enjoying the fruits of your labour. This workshop will provide you with tips and information that ensures you are well prepared to have a good harvest and to know what to do with your harvest in the kitchen. Cooking will be taught by Erika Simms.

 

 

 

All workshops will be led by Susan Lee Hem, who will share the knowledge gained through her work as The Sharing Farm Society’s greenhouse manager, as a founding member of Richmond Urban Farmers, as the owner of Small Space Gardening and Design, as well as from her experience of growing food on her own townhouse balcony.
