Food Skills Workshops

In partnership with the Gulf of Georgia Cannery Farmer’s Market, we will be offering a series of free Food Skills workshops of select Sundays in 2018 and 2019.


Each workshop will run approximately 45 minutes each in the Boiler House Theatre, accessible through the main market area.


On Sunday March 17th and Sunday April 28th, you’ll also find our Seed Library from 12:00-3:00pm. Come check out some seeds and learn about saving your own.




This year’s workshops include:

October 21st, 1:00pm – Fin to Fork: Using all parts of your Salmon (Recipes here)

December 9th, 1:00pm – Holiday Leftovers/Food Waste Management (Recipes here)

February 3rd, 1:00pm – A Week of Healthy Lunches/Snacks on a Budget (Tips for Healthy and Budget Cooking, Recipes from workshop here)

April 14th, 1:00pm – Building a Basic Kitchen Pantry
